This policy explains in plain language what happens to information when you visit the Amerikan Kültür Avcılar website or use its forms. The separate KVKK Privacy Notice provides activity-specific information under Turkish data-protection law. This privacy policy is not a consent form.
Information we process
Depending on the feature you use, we may process:
- Contact and enquiry information: name, telephone number, optional email, message, programme interest and preferred callback time.
- Level-test information: test selected, questions displayed, answers given or left blank, provisional level, result and contact information submitted with the result.
- Campaign and prize information: campaign source, participation record, prize or coupon and records needed to prevent repeat use.
- Personalised programme information: age range, occupation, availability, interests and the resulting suggestion, only if you choose to save this information.
- Technical and attribution information: essential preference cookies, UTM parameters, advertising click identifiers and referring page. An irreversibly hashed form of an IP address may be used to limit abuse.
For children's programmes, the adult contact details requested after a test belong to the parent or guardian rather than the child.
How information is used
Information is used to answer your request, recommend suitable study options, run the level test securely, follow up an enquiry, validate campaign participation, prevent misuse and improve service quality.
Advertising and analytics measurement is enabled only after the relevant cookie choice is granted. Names, telephone numbers, email addresses and free-text messages entered in forms are not sent to analytics platforms.
Cookies and analytics
The website uses essential cookies to remember your privacy choice and support core functions. Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement is denied by default and loads only when you grant permission through the cookie notice.
You may reject analytics cookies. To reset your choice, remove this site's cookies in your browser and open the site again. When you follow an external link such as WhatsApp, that provider's own privacy terms apply.
Service providers and sharing
Limited service providers support the website: Supabase for database and file infrastructure, Resend for notification emails, Cloudflare Turnstile for bot verification when enabled, and Google Analytics and Google Ads for consented measurement.
These providers are used only to the extent needed for their service. Any international data transfer and the applicable safeguard must be assessed for the specific processing activity and provider under the KVKK Privacy Notice.
Retention and security
Information is retained for as long as needed to complete the relevant request, maintain security records and meet applicable legal obligations. It is then deleted, destroyed or anonymised when the purpose and obligation end.
Controls include restricted admin access, server-side validation, request rate limits, misuse checks and encryption in transit. No internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure; contact us if you notice a concern.
Your choices and rights
You may reject analytics cookies. You also have rights under Article 11 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law, including asking whether your data is processed, requesting information, correcting inaccurate data and requesting deletion or destruction where the legal conditions apply.
